The O’Malley Series by Dee Henderson is a definite read! This 7 Book Christian Suspense/Romance series kept me interested in both plot and character development throughout every book. Each book tackled challenging questions of faith and offered amazing characters that readers truly grow to know. Although this series has been out for years now, IΒ only recently had an opportunity to read it. Consequently, the entire series was complete when I started. I was fortunate for thisΒ because I found that while nearing the end of one book I was already in the bookstore purchasing the next in the series. π
The first book in the series, “Danger in the Shadows”, is actually a prequel to the O’Malley Series. I have included a copy of the synopsis below:
The bureau owns her.
Under FBI protection, Sara isn’t even Sara Walsh anymore. Her name is what they will tell her. Her home is where they send her. And she’s never there for long.
A stranger owns her.
Though faceless, he haunts Sara’s dreams. He’s the man who abducted her as a child and continues to stalk her. He’s the one who is determined to end their connection– and Sara’s life.
But most of all, fear owns her.
Which makes falling in love with a man as high profile as Adam Black a bad idea. And a dangerous one. For both of them. Sara’s world is an unsafe place for love– and certainly an unsafe place for children Adam longs for. No one knows that better than Sara, and she can’t take the risk…
But if she doesn’t, her life will never be her own. Where will she find the courage to name her terror and face her fear?
The synopsis doesn’t mention Sara’s brother, Dave Richman, but he serves to protect his sister in this prequel and goes on to have his own story in Book 1, “The Negotiator”. It is here that readers are officially introduced to the O’Malley family. I hope you have an opportunity to read this series. It really won’t disappoint! π
Series Order: “Danger in the Shadows” (Prequel), “The Negotiator” (Book 1), “The Guardian” (Book 2), “The Truth Seeker” (Book 3), “The Protector” (Book 4), “The Healer” (Book 5), “The Rescuer” (Book 6)

They are by far some of my favorites. π Dee Henderson also just released “Full Disclosure” last month. I purchased it, and I look forward to reading it soon! I also hear that she is writing the back story of Jennifer and Tom’s relationship (from the O’Malley Series). It is intended to show their relationship leading up to the O’Malley stories. It is due to be released in May of 2013. I’m looking forward to it! π Thanks for stopping by my blog. God bless!
I know what you mean with being unable to put these books down. They’re just so adictive!! π
